E-MAIL: Yolande B. Harden, yolande.b.harden1@jsc.nasa.gov. NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Offer (RFO) for the design, fabrication, test and delivery of a set of pressure regulators. The set of pressure regulators are to be used on the attitude control system of the Experimental Crew Return Vehicle (X-38) lifting body spacecraft. A contract will be awarded for 1 ground test unit and 3 flight units. Delivery of the ground test unit is required 3 months after contract award date, while delivery of the flight units are required 6 months after contract award date. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR PART 12. The SIC Code and Size Standard are 3769 and 1000 employees, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurement is DO -C9. This is not a request for offer. The anticipated release date of RFO 9-BH13-76-9-21P is on or about July 6, 1999 with an anticipated offer due date of on or about July 27, 1999. Any award resulting from proposals received will not be made prior to October 1, 1999. All qualified, responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
