The Government proposes to acquire USD15S/AF Large Display Portable Digital Ultrasonic Flaw Detectors, P/N 083-034-665, with associated probes, carrying cases, battery chargers and documentation for inspections on the AH-64 Apache Helicopter. The purchase of the detectors will be used in the inspection of internal and external flaws of fastener bolts. The key to reducing a potential Safety of Flight concern is detecting these flaws early.
