The work to be performed consists of the following: Fabricate and furnish four structural steel hatch covers, FOB Flatiron Power and Pumping Plant, Colorado, set-down at site, within 120-calendar days after award. Hatch covers measure approximately : (1) 26 ft, 4 in x 23 ft, 8 in (Qty 2) (2) 23 ft, 8 in x 23 ft, 8 in (Qty 1) and (3) 25 ft, 0 in x 18 ft, 4 in (Qty 1). Covers shall be galvanized, insulated with rigid insulation board and include fan blowers. Existing covers shall be removed, salvaged, and disposed of. The work is located at the Flatiron Power and Pumping Plant, Flatiron Reservoir, located in Larimer County, 10 miles southeast of Loveland, Colorado. The bid opening is tentatively scheduled for September 9, 1999, at the Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office, Room 2031, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana. There is no charge for the first copy of this solicitation, additional sets may be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each. After issuance, the solicitation may be viewed, without charge, at the address mentioned above. All reasonable sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation.
