Wallace, Contract Specialist, (410) 786-5128 The Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) intends to award a firm fixed price Simplified Acquisition on a sole source basis to BMC Software, 2101 City West Boulevard, Houston, Texas 77042. The contractor shall prepare a training plan and a schedule of training classes, in accordance with the best industry practices. The classes will begin in the Fall of 1999 and continue into 2000. the training will be held on site at HCFA's training facility. The training plan will include a set of classes that will be offered to the agency's data administrators and developers. Listed below are suggested classes, however the following classes are subject to change, if others are more advantageous or more current classes are recommended. The contractor will supply the needed instructors for the required classes: BMC Classes DB2 Change Manager, DB2 Catalog Manager, DB2 DASD Manager, DB2 Activity Manager, Apputune for DB2, Opertune for DB2, Recovery Manager for DB2. The training package will include the following Reference Manger, Self Study videos and CD that will supplement the formal training.
