Specialist, 410-786-5128 The Health Care Finanacing Administration
(HCFA) intends to award under Simplified Acquisition Procedures the
following services: A contractor who will place 48 thirty-second
commercial spots in the Atlanta, Georgia television markets on
Mammography Awareness Campaign. Program should be selected based on
favorable ratings for African-American women over 65. They should be
placed during non-preemtable daytime and early evening programming
during 10/11/99 -- 10/31/99. In the event that multiple vendors
respond, HCFA will select a vendor based on (1) lowest cost per
impression and (2) largest of impressions in the target audience during
7 am to 7pm. HCFA will also give consideration to reaching the target
audience by running the spots as Public Service Announcements (PSAs),
running local news stories or other enhancements such as identifying
local corporate sponsors and/or running intros or "billboards" as they
are known, around the spots. The vendor must coordinate with
"designated HCFA contractor" indeveloping graphic and audio
presentations of local contact information to be added to the spots
provided by HCFA. Spots will be provided by HCFA as Beta maters.
Contractor must provide demographic analysis of actual impressions or
has the option of sigma-coding approved ads. All technical questions
