The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) has a requirement for Hotel Sleeping Rooms/Suites in the Rockville, Maryland area. 121 Rooms/Suites, not to exceed the Government Rate, (TAX-EXEMPT) with Check-In on Aug. 16, 1999, until Check-out on Dec. 15, 1999 to accomodate approximately 10 students. Required at a minimum are weekly housekeeping services; TV/VCR in each room/suite for the purpose of completing homework assignments; full kitchen; health and fitness room; unlimited local telephone calls; coin operated laundry facility or laundry services; shuttle services to and from the training site, located at 1401 Research Blvd. Rockville, MD; no more than a 20 minute commute one-way to or from the training site; rooms/suites must meet all Montgomery County, Maryland fire and safety codes; vendor must accept payment via Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) and must not submit invoices more often than monthly. Any additional services provided by the vendor will be evaluated as part of the "best value" analysis. Award will be based on the offer that meets all the minimum requirements and offers the best value to the government, price and other factors considered. This award will be made utilizing the simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Part 13.
