The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) sponsors disabled veterans in vocational rehabilitation training programs in order to prepare veterans for gainful employment in specific occupational areas. This sponsorship generally takes the form of providing training through local educational institutions or on-the-job training sites qualified to provide the necessary instruction. The contractor's Rehabilitation Assistance Services (RAS) Case Manager is the veteran's primary point of contact concerning benefits and services delineated in the Individualized Written Rehabilitation Plan (IWRP). The RAS Case Manager provides all case management services for Department of Veterans Affairs Rehabilitation veterans, including Initial Orientation, RAS Supervision sessions, responding to Unscheduled contacts, maintenance of forms, record keeping and supervision documentation & reviewing invoices. Multiple awards are anticipated in order to successfully satisfy this requirement. Contract period shall be one (1) base year with four (4) option years.
