R -- PROVIDE AN OSTEOPATHIC PHYSICIAN DATABASE SOL HRSA-99-BPHC-0080 DUE 070299 POC Aileen Broider-301-443-5231 The Health Resources and Services Administration intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with the American Osteopathic Association, 142 East Ontario Street, Chicago, Illinois 60611-2864. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this procurement is to provide an Osteopathic Physician Database for shortage area designation needs as well as for workforce analysis needs and inclusion in the Area Resource File. The contractor shall: provide individual record data for all osteopathic physicians in primary care specialties who provide patient care; and provide data on all osteopathic physicians for use in workforce analyses and inclusion in the Area Resource File, which contains data on health professionals at the county level. The American Osteopathic Association is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services. The period of performance is one month.
