The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, intends to solicit and award an indefinite delivery, firm fixed price contract to provide regionalized laundry, dry cleaning, and linen rental services for various customers in Texas for a base period with option provisions for two additional years. Customers include Naval Hospital, Veterinary Clinic, and NAS CBQ, Corpus Christi; Branch Medical Clinic, Branch Medical Clinic Laboratory, Branch Dental Clinic, NAS BOQ, NAS BEQ, and NAS Admin Department, Kingsville; and Branch Medical Clinic, Branch Medical Clinic Laboratory, NAS Galley, and Branch Dental Clinic, Ingleside. Services include pick up and delivery every week with individual customer requirements ranging from one to seven times per week. Since this is a follow-on effort for which the dominant requirement is governed by a Wage Determination with a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), the new Wage Determination rates are expected to be based on the incumbent CBA. This requires an offeror, at aminimum, to utilize the CBA wages and rates but would not require a non-union contractor to establish a union or a CBA.
