Roberts (816) 983-3842 (This Solicitation Is Set Aside For Small Business Only) The work to be performed consists of a construction contract for a 1,000,000 gallon (3790 cubic meter) steel surface tank, a 1,000,000 Gallon (3790 cubic meter) steel elevated tank, approximately 9,000 Feet (2745 meters) of water lines, a package pump and chemical feed Unit (3-1000 gpm pumps and chlorine, fluoride, and polyphosphate) and an administration building, an approximate 2,000 S.F. (180 Square meters). The administration building will house the Administrative offices, water laboratory, break area, restrooms and work shop. The building will have a steel stud frame with brick exterior walls, HVAC system, plumbing for restrooms and laboratory, and standing seam metal. The contract will also have demolition of a 500,000 gallon elevated tank and a 500,000 gallon in ground concrete reservoir with pump facility. These facilities may have asbestos and lead paint. Work also includes soil dewatering, utility relocation and new connections, construction of parking lot, site drainage, and street lighting and landscaping. The solicitation will be issued on or about 30 JUNE 1999. The proposal due date is 2 August 1999. Estimated time of completion is 450 calendar days. Sic code: 1542.
