Firm-Fix Price contract,the project provides for Renovation of Buildings 1530 & 2049, Kelly AFB, San Antonio, TX. Building 1530 This existing building will be altered to provide storage areas, electrical, communications, fire protection, loading dock, alterations, and special areas to properly configure the buildings to support new tenants. The storage areas will be sections surrounded with chain link fence. Existing storage rack system in the building will be dismantled and stored. Special areas consists of CMU wall construction. All support utilities and site improvements are required. Building 2049 This existing building will be modified to provide two distinct areas for the user. A single CMU wall separation for the building is required containing proper sound ratings. Also included are construction for communications, electrical, fire and life safety provisions, security provisions, a unisex restroom, entrance/exit stairs, and access to the mezzanine. All support utilities and site improvements are required. This project will be advertised Subject to Availbility of Funds (SAF). This project will be awarded if contingent upon the award of Solicitation No. DACA63-99-B-0007, Consolidated Mobility Center, Kelly AFB, San Antonio, Texas. The plans and specifications will be placed on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge. Plans ans Specifications will not be provided in a paper hard copy format. Notification of amendments shall be made through either 3.5" diskette, CD ROM, and/or the internet. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of CD ROM and the Internet. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation.
