Services and materials for the design, development, integration, testing, support, and fabrication of a Virtual Imaging System for Approach and Landing (VISUAL). The program objective is the acquisition and initial support of a CV/CVN VISUAL System and a LH-VISUAL System. The CV VISUAL System consists of a Stabilized Imaging and Tracking Unit (SITU) and a CV LSO workstation. The LH-VISUAL System consists of a SITU, a LSO workstation, and Fixed Glidepath Sensor. The VISUAL systems will be used aboard U. S. Naval aircraft carriers (CV/CVN) and amphibious assault ships (LHA/LHD). There will be a pre-proposal conference approximately 30 days from the issue date of the RFP.
