The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound has a requirement for 2 each, 02N2 Producer Plants in accordance with MIL-P-24334C (Revised). The plants are anticipated to be installed on the CVN-70 and the CVN-74. Delivery to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS) of the plant for CVN-70 will be required within 6 months after contract award. Delivery of the plant for CVN-74, also to PSNS, will be required within 14 months after contract award. The solicitation will include an option for up to 2 additional units to be exercised within 1 year after basic contract award. Delivery of these optional units will be within 18 months after exercise. The acquisition will be solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. A best value evaluation will be conducted. The RFP will be issued on or about 02 July 99 with a 30 day closing. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by FISC Puget Sound.
