Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is contemplating the purchase of approximately 1638 aluminum containers for the B-52 ALQ-172 Countermeasures Set, consisting of CNU-605/E, CNU-606/E, CNU-607E and CNU-608/E. Requirement includes first article test and evaluation. The containers shall be manufactured in accordance with government furnished production level drawing packages and specifications, which are available for review and download at http://packweb.wpafb.af.mil/solicitations. Offerors should be experienced in economical fabrication and are required to build aluminum containers to specs. These are complex items due to flatness, straightness and tolerance requirements. Delivery shall be to Robins AFB, GA and ITT, Clifton, NJ. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. The Request for Proposal (RFP) package may be reviewed and downloaded from the PIXS website at http://www/pixs.wpafb.af.mil and should be available on/or about 2 Jul 99.
