This request if for information only. Proposals are not being requested nor will they be accepted in response to this synopsis. Contracts will not be awarded solely on the basis of the responses hereto, or on follow-up information susbequently sought. Sources are sought for small businesses (under 500 employees) that are also manufacturers of ready-to-cook broiler/fryer chickens weighing 2.50 to 3 pounds each without necks and gibltes. This product is purchased in units weighing 39,000 pounds each. All product purchased by USDA must be of 100% domestic origin. Purchases of cooked batter/breaded cut-up chicken are on-going, with deliveries beginning August 1, 1999.
