Lundberg, (361) 776-4295 The proposed project consists of seagrass planting and monitoring at a Navy mitigation site near Naval Station Ingleside. After seagrass planting along three transects at the site, monitoring the survival and condition of the seagrass will be performed on a frequent basis for 60 days, and a formal report of findings will be delivered to the Navy. The limited planting will be representative of the entire site, and will include three planting methods that differ in plant size and/or anchoring (peat pots, pins) from the original planting attempt.
