The Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS), SAMHSA, through the General Acquisitions Branch, PSC plans to award a sole source simplified acquisition to Synergies, National Inhalant Prevention Coalition in Austin, TX. This requirement will be a partnership, in the sixth annual "National Inhalants and Poisons Awareness Week", to be held March 21-27, 2000. The observance will educate and increase national awareness about the dangers and substantial increase of inhalant use. Through planned community events, video news releases, news conferences, television, radio and Internet programming, for the week-long observance, CSAT will gain an opportunity to be linked to an effort that seeks to help families suffering from inhalant abuse.
