Interested sources are sought for the Commander Navy Region, South West (COMNAVREGSW) Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) operations. The performance requirements include providing the managerial, administrative, supervisory, direct and indirect personnel to accomplish all required functions necessary to supply HAZMAT per customer requests in accordance with (IAW) the requirements of the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Navy HAZMAT program objective is to provide customer support, and minimization of Hazardous Waste (HAZWASTE) and HAZMAT inventories. The COMNAVREGSW is comprised of geographically dispersed activities and supports a variety of Navy and Marine Corps activities. The anticipated contract type is fixed price with award fee. Site visits and pre-proposal conference will be announced in the solicitation. Performance is estimated to begin with phase-in by 1 June 2000, full performance by 1 August 2000, and will provide for a base year and four one-year option periods. Refer to N00244-99-R-0223. This procurement is being conducted under Commercial Activity OMB A-76 cost comparison guidelines. If government performance is determined to be more advantageous, the solicitation will be cancelled. This acquisition will be conducted under Standard Industrial Classification Code 8744 which establishes $5M threshold as the ceiling for small business size.
