16 -- SUPPLIES & SERVICES FOR F-14 LANTIRN SOL n68335-99-R-0254 DUE 070699 POC Ms. Dawn Chartier, Code 25211DC, (732) 323-2933 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue on a sole source basis, a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with Lockheed Martin Corporation Electronics & Missiles, 5600 Sand Lake Road, Orlando, FL 32819. LMIS will furnish supplies/services, when ordered by the Government in accordance with the terms and conditions of the BOA. The BOA will cover general requirements and tasks required to provide the material and services necessary to repair and/or return to Ready For Issue (RFI) condition the F-14 Low Altitude Targeting Infra-Red Night (LANTIRN) Electronics Optical Test Set (EOTS), Battlefield Reconfigurable Instrument for Test of Electro-Optical Equipment (BRITE), Mounting Point Standard (MPS), Digital Multimeter (DMM), Digital Storage Oscilloscope (DSO) and Forward Looking Infra-Red (FLIR) equipment. The Government intends to procure these supplies/services under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own data, drawings, software or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should reference N68335-99-R-0254. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
