The purpose of this amendment is to correct the Classification Code as it appeared in the CBD announcement submitted April 16, 1999, Submission No. 321195. Block 6 is hereby corrected from #83 to #54 as stated above, to reflect FSC code #5411. The Synopsis is corrected to read as follows: The USA Materiel Command Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, AMSSB-ACN, Natick, MA 01760-5011 has a requirement to procure approximately 500 Lightweight Multi-Purpose Shelters (LMS) S-788 Types I and III variants over a five year period on a full and open competitive basis. Approximately 50 of each type of LMS and spare parts on an "as needed" basis will be ordered during each of the five years. Offerors will be expected to design and propose a LMS based on the performance specification. Information on obtaining performance specification MIL-PRF-44408C is available on web site http://www.natick.army.mil on or about June 30, 1999. A five year Requirements Contract with annual option periods will be put into place. These shelters are required to fulfill current and future requirements. The SIC code for this acquisition is 3448.
