This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation #: N66604-99-Q-4895 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular. This is set-aside for small business concerns only. (SEE Note 1). The standard industrial classification code is 3699 and small business size standard is 500 employees. List of cables are: 1) 6,781 ft. of MWF-7 type cable, no cable length cut less than 75 ft.; 2) 7,066 ft. of MWF-30 type cable, no cable length cut less than 100 ft.; 3) 7,410 ft. of DSS-3 type cable, no cable length less than 180 ft. Required Delivery Date is August 09, 1999 or sooner. Delivery is to Norfolk,VA. FOB Destination preferred.
