Office of Water, Office of Wastewater Management, Municipal Support
Division has a requirement for technical support services connected
with the Clean Water Needs Survey and Technical Support for Municipal
Wastewater and Wet Weather. The required support services will cover
data collection and evaluation, and evaluations of treatment systems
and technologies, including nonpoint source pollution. Other required
support services will cover such actives as preparation of guidance
documents, surveys, engineering models, draft reports, and brochures.
The offeror will provide logistical support for symposiums and other
meetings. The offeror will also provide helpline services. It is
anticipated that a cost plus fixed fee/level-of-effort contract will
result from the award of this solicitation. The estimated period of
performance will consist of a 12 month base period and four option
periods of 12 months duration each. The Government anticipates a
maximum level of effort of approximately 4,000 direct labor hours for
the base period and option one, and 2,750 hours each for option periods
two, three, and four. The Government also anticipates including
quantity option amounts of approximately 10,500 hours for the base
year, and 10,000 hours each for option periods one through 4. The
maximum estimated total potential level of effort for the solicitation
is approximately 66,750 direct labor hours over 60 months. This
acquisition is being solicited on a full and open, competitive basis.
