The Naval Construction Battalion Center is soliciting request for quotations to overhaul and upgrade a Southwest Machine Shop Trailer in accordance with specifications to be provided and modification in accordance with the Department of the Army drawings developed by Rock Island Aresenal. Drawings will be provided to each contractor on a Computer CD Rom in CAD format. The CD Rom containing information to allow the CD to be self- extracting without the requirement of having any CAD Software on your computer. The Naval Construction Battalion Center will issue RFQs on or about 9 July 1999 to all contractors responding to this announcement. A site visit will be held on or about 21 July 99 for contractors to review the trailer to be modernized and a trailer already completed. More information and a firm date of the site visit will be contained in the RFQ. The successful contractor will be responsible for the pick-up and return of the trailer to the Naval Construction Battalion Center, Gulfport, MS. All repairs must be completed within 90 days after pick-up of the equipment.
