S -- - NOTICE OF INTENT TO ENTER INTO A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT WITH THE PRINCE WILLIAM SOUND REGIONAL CITIZENS' ADVISORY COUNCIL. Notice of intent to enter into a sole source contract with the Prince William Sound Regional Citizens' Advisory Council (PWSRCAC), an independent non-profit corporation, for the National Ocean Service (NOS). Purpose of agreement is to participate in a joint project with the PWSRCAC for purpose of testing ice detection technologies, including radar mounted on land, to detect icebergs in the Prince William Sound shipping lanes. This study is of mutual interest to both NOS and PWSRCAC and costs will be shared by NOS and PWSRCAC. No other sources known which possess PWSRCAC's shared mission and interest in ice detection technologies in the Prince William Sound area.
