This project is to Repair Maintenance Facility, Building 544 at the Charleston Air Force Base, South Carolina. Work includes: Construction of new entrance canopy, gazebo, and all associated work, to include lighting, demolition of new existing sidewalk and construction of new sidewalk. Construction of new Gazebo and all associated work, including lighting, demolition or existing sidewalk and construction of new sidewalk. Complete repair to the exterior and interior of a 27,715 square foot one story shop building. Removal and replacement of the existing arched standing seam metal roof system. Complete removal of all paint, including lead-based paint abatement, from all steel, including but not limited to building structure, mechanical equipment structures, and crane and monorail structures, to near-white condition and application of new epoxy-polyamide zinc coating systems. Miscellaneous asbestos abatement. Removal and replacement of floorcoating system. New offices, bathrooms, locker rooms, and new interior finishes. Repair of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. Miscellaneous landscaping. Contract performance time will be 352 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Proposals will be evaluated using Price/Performance Trade-off.
