1999. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment,
transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to make repairs to
the T-boat pier, USCG Academy, New London, CT (New London County). The
work includes removal and disposal of existing deteriorated timber
bearing and fender piles, timber pile caps, sections of timber curbing,
timber deck planks, lead or copper pile cap heads and timber bracing.
Fender piles to be removed may be untreated, CCA treated or creosote
treated. All remaining timber to be removed is creosote treated.
Installation of new timber bearing and fender piles, timber pile cap,
copper pile head caps, timber bracing included associated fasteners,
shims, splices, timber bracing bolts, concrete pier encasement, mooring
cleats and energy absorbing fenders for camels. Estimated cost of this
project is between $100,000 and $250,000. SIC code is 1629.
Performance time is 120 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. Actual
on-site work is limited to 60 days.Solicitation packages to be
