The U.S Army Special Operations Command intends to issue a firm fixed price delivery order (Navy BOA N00383-95-G-M120) to the intended source Allied Signal Inc, 1300 West Warner Rd., P.O. Box 22200, Tempe, AZ 85285-2200. Delivery is estimated to be July 1999. Allied Signal possesses engineering expertise and technical data to provide the aforementioned items to the Government. The above listed are commercial items. Commercial procedures are applicable at FAR Parts 12 and 13.6. The Government does not own technical data for the above. Allied Signal owns all design rights and is the only known manufacturer. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action for the above is solely within the discretion of the Government.
