The work to be performed consists of the following: Fabricate and deliver one bulkhead gate, one trashrack and miscellaneous metalwork all fabricated with the structural steel to Green Mountain Dam and Powerplant approximately 12 miles southeast of Kremmling, CO, in Summit Country, at an elevation of 7, 700 feet above sea level. The bulkhead is approximately 22 feet in diameter and weighs approximately 58, 000 lbs. The total weight for the trashrack and miscellaneous metalwork is approximately 28, 000 lbs. The design for the equipment will be provided by the government. All fabrication will comply with all standards of the Bureau of Reclamation and AISC. The bid opening is tentatively scheduled for August 26,1999, at the Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office, Room 2031, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana. Performance period is 150 days after issuance of award. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation, additional sets may be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each.
