Comprehensive Sanctions Center Services (CSC) with Transitional Drug
Abuse Treatment (TDAT). Concerns having the ability to provide CSC with
TDAT for male and female Federal offenders. Those interested are
requested to give written notification (including telephone number and
a point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice.
Services required include care, custody, control, accountability and
treatment, to include furnishing of subsistence and medical and dental
treatment for CSC. Services required for 16 inmates include Intake
Assessment (one per inmate), Individual Counseling (48 -- 30 minute
sessions per inmate), Group Counseling (52 -- 30 minute sessions per
inmate), and Family Counseling (32 -- 30 minute sessions per inmate)
per year for TDAT. The services described shall be in accordance with
the Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location of the facility
shall be in the Farmington, New Mexico area. Estimated total number of
inmate days for the base period for CSC is 7300 inmate days and 3650
inmate days for the first, second and third option years respectively.
Estimated total of inmates for TDAT is 16 inmates with the following:
Intake Assessment (one per inmate), Individual Counseling (48 -- 30
minute sessions per inmate), Group Counseling (52 -- 30 minute sessions
per inmate) and Family Counseling (32 -- 30 minute sessions per inmate)
per year for the two year base period and each of the three one-year
options. Estimated RFP issue date is o/a July 19, 1999, estimated
closing date is October 18, 1999. The Bureau of Prisons' will conduct
a pre-proposal conference on August 12, 1999, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00
p.m. at the United States Federal Courthouse in the United States
Probation Office at 333 Lomas NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87102.
Interested sources must register by submitting, in writing, a notice of
the organization's intention to attend and the name(s) of the
individual(s) who will be representing the potential Offerors at the
conference.The registration must be received by the Bureau of Prisons
no later than August 5, 1999, 3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The
written notification shall be submitted via facsimile to (202)
307-2780, or mailed to the Contracting Officer at: Federal Bureau of
Prisons, Community Corrections Contracting, 320 First Street, N.W.
(5006), Washington, DC 20534. The purpose of the pre-proposal
conference is for Government representatives to answer potential
Offerors questions regarding the technical aspects of the solicitation,
the facilities and areas in which services will be performed. If there
