Sources Sought for the Laboratory Courier Services. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, supervision, and equipment to provide on-call transportation service of "stat" specimens and blood products for the Laboratory Service of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 1055 Clermont St, Denver, CO 80220. On-call Service shall be performed 24hours a day, 365 days a year including all Government Recognized Holidays. Scheduling of pick-ups and deliveries for the laboratory shall be coordinated by the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR). The Contractor shall respond on-site within 15 minutes after receiving the request for service. The COTR shall indicate pick-up and destination for each call. Prompt pick-up, transportation of blood products and specimens is extremely important to provide urgent care for a critically ill or bleeding patient. Delivery locations are in the metro Denver area.
