COMMERCIAL ITEM: This contract shall consists of equipment rental for loading and hauling road materials and debris, developing and closing borrow sites, trenching, grading, cleaning ditches, reconstructing turnouts, installing culverts and settling basins, resurfacing portions of the roadway and constructing erosion devices. The work will require the following equipment or approved equals. These are only estimated hours: 710B John Deere backhoe (80 hrs); two belly dump trucks (120 hrs ea.); 938 caterpillar frontend loader (40 hrs); D7 caterpillar dozer (40 hrs); 14G caterpillar grader (80 hrs). All equipment will include an operator and transporation to and from site. Campsites, but no Government quarters will be available for operators. Normal work week is expected to be 40 hrs/wk with a minimum of 20 hrs/wk in case of inclement weather or temporary delay. The proposal contract is 100% total set-aside for small business.
