The National Park Service, Department of the Interior, is soliciting proposals from construction firms having the capability to perform the work described below. A negotiated firm-fixed price contract will be awarded, requiring submission of both a technical and a price proposal. The Government will consider an offeror's technical capability in comparison to its price and select the contractor whose proposal represents the best value to the Government. The work of this contract consists of the general construction of an asphalt access road, asphalt parking lot, repair of damaged parking area, a restroom on wood piles with a wood deck, underground primary and secondary electric lines, a transformer, a power generator enclosed in a building on wood piles, water supply lines, fire hydrants, underground telephone service lines, sewage collection lines, manholes, drain fields, pump stations and septic tanks, concrete walks, brick walks with stabilized turf shoulders, an aggregate service drive, seeding, fertilizing, and mulching, and tree and shrub planting. -- All requests for project documents must be made in writing.
