Furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and appliances necessary to perform all operations in connection with the roof repair on building P-2050, Fort Drum, New York in strict accordance with the statement of work, specifications, drawings, and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. PRINCIPAL FEATURES: Upper Roof Deck: a. Remove existing tires on roof, which were used as temporary ballast, and return to the Government. b. Remove and dispose of roofing materials (i.e., EPDM membrane, fiberboard, insulation, scuppers, and nailers) off-post. c. Install built-up roof, scuppers, strainers, crickets, and nailers. Lower Roof Deck: a. Cut existing membrane and add additional fasteners to anchor bars at parapets and where roof deck meets upper roof wall. Seal and reattach membrane. b. Cut membrane and remove, replace, and reinforce scuppers. Seal and reattach membrane. This procurement is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. This will be an unrestricted procurement issued under the authority of FAR Subpart 19.1006(b)(1), Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 17. The anticipated issue/posting date will be on or about 21 July 1999. NOTE: The DUE DATE for the solicitation shall be 30 days after actual issuance/posting on Fort Drum's Web Page. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered. The solicitation will not be mailed out and no Bidder's Mailing List (BML) will be maintained. The entire bid package will be available for downloading from the Fort Drum Web Page.
