PLEASE NOTE: In the past, this item, the Hydraulic Pumping Unit, was procured sole source from an approved source of supply: Schroeder Industries, Nichol Avenue, PO Box 72, Mckees Rocks, Pa 15136. However, due to the Government's recent implementation of Acquisition Reform, more extensive market research was performed to determine if the Hydraulic Pumping Unit is commercially available. The Governments determination is that the Hydraulic Pumping Unit is a commercially available item, therefore, Sol.DAAE20-99-R-0133 referred in this CBD Notice will be issued to all interested parties as a competitive procurement. Although the item is commercially available, offerors are expected to deliver an Hydraulic Pumping Unit which meets the requirements/description of the item shown in Army Drawing #13221E6735. Solicitation DAAE20-99-R-0133 will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided.
