Inputs are being requested from firms capable of performing the work required to provide one (1) 12.5 megawatt AC power controller for the NASA LaRC Mach 10 tunnel resistance heater and the LaRC Mach 6 tunnel resistance heater. Summary requirements are as follows: 1) Management and engineering required to design, furnish and install the new power supply, 2) Fabrication and manufacturing of the power supply and all related equipment, 3) Demolition of an existing office area, 4) Installation and integration of the new power supply with existing facility interfaces and within existing real estate, 5) Commissioning and documentation of the new power supply. The specifications for this requirement are attached. Potential offerors are requested to submit the following information: NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC) is issuing Request for Information (RFI) GGL.1400on or about June 22, 1999 and responses will be no later than July 7, 1999. Any specific commercial terms and conditions requested for this type of work. 7. Name and address of firm; size of business; average annual revenue for the past 3 years and number of employees; ownership; whether they are large, small, small disadvantanged 8 (a), woman owned, or HUBzone small business.
