Park Service has a requirement to conduct an Archaeological Research
Design for Lava Beds National Monument, CA. The work will consist of an
Overview And Assessment and Research Design in Archaeology and
Environment. The research and design shall include but is not limited
to, Evolution of Land Use, Research Potential, Research Topics, and
Specific Goals. In the late fall of 1999 some field work including a 7
day stay at Lava Beds National Monument will be required. The
contractor shall submit monthly reports containing accurate up-to-date
accounts of completed tasks. A copy of the solicitation may be
requested in writing form the Contracting Officer. Responsible private
companies, non-profit agencies, colleges and universities, and
responsible parties with expertise in the above requirement are
encouraged to request a copy of the solicitation. A single contract
award will be made. Please respond in writing to be included in the
