The Government intends to issue an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, Firm Fixed Price Type Contract with five consecutive ordering periods. The minimum quantity is 200 each and the maximum quantity is 1000 each. The minimum Delivery Order quantity is 100 each and the maximum Delivery Order quantity is 200 each. Delivery will be FOB destination for the first ordering period and FOB origin for the subsequent ordering period. Required delivery for the first delivery order is 200 each to Red River Army Depot, Texarkana TX 120 days after receipt of order. The data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. Authority and Justification is 10 U.S.C 2304 (c) (1). This proposed contractual action is for supplies which cannot be procured through full and open competition because the authority cited states only one responsible source or a limited number of sources and no other supplies or services will satisfy the Agency requirements, FAR 6.302-1.
