a notice of RFP issuance. The F-16 System Program Office (SPO)
anticipates a sole source acquisition of the integration of an Air to
Air Interrogator into USAF Block 50 and Block 52 F-16 Aircraft. This
effort will include the production and integration of an Air-to-Air
Interrogator (AAI) onto approximately 251 Block 50/52 F-16 aircraft.
The F-16 SPO is not able to provide tooling, facilities, or design and
fabrication drawings/data for the contractual effort proposed. Program
requirements will include: 1) Group A kit fabrication, 2) Group B
fabrication, 3) Kit proof support activities, 4) Core avionics software
integration and installed system functional demonstration, 5) Peculiar
support equipment and software, 6) Technical orders and time
compliance technical orders, 7) Initial spares 8) Technical product
baseline maintenance, 9) Capable of Providing logistics support.
Lockheed Martin Tactical Aircraft Systems (LMTAS), P.O. Box 748, Fort
Worth, TX 76101-0748, is the planned prime contractor for this effort,
pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The F-16 SPO encourages interested
subcontractors to contact LMTAS for subcontracting of work related to
the above described integration and fabrication work. The LMTAS point

synopsis is for planning purposes only. It does not constitute an
invitation for sealed bid or request for proposal (RFP), nor is it to
be construed as a commitment by the Government. F-16 SPO Points of

for this acquisition. The only purpose of the ombudsman is to receive
and communicate serious concerns from potential offerors when an
offeror prefers not to use established channels to communicate his/her
concerns during proposal development phase of this acquisition.
Potential offerors should use established channels to request
information, pose questions, and voice concerns before resorting to use
of the Ombudsman. Potential offerors are invited to contact ASC's
