59 -- POWER CONVERTER MODULES (PCMS) FOR THE AN/UYS-2(V)1 ENHANCED MODULAR SIGNAL PROCESSOR (EMSP)!! SOL N00024-99-R-6331 POC 02632M, Ms. Traci Mounts, 703-602-7707 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Varo Incorporated for the production of 16 Power Converter Modules (PCMs) as part of the AN/UYS-2A Signal Processor for PMS411, the Surface Ship Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Combat System Program Office. Varo Incorporated is the sole manufacturer of the Power Converter Module (PCM) and the only technically qualified source capable of meeting the requirements of this procurement. As developer and sole manufacturer of the PCM, Varo has developed the unique skills, experience and equipment to perform the required services in a timely manner. No other sources have the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other services satisfy the Navy's requirements.
