A -- EYELINK SYSTEM (EYE POSITION & GAZE TRACKING SYSTEM) SOL 541-100-99 DUE 070999 POC Jeanelle Wright, (440) 838-6091 The Louis Stokes Cleveland, Dept. of Veterans Affairs Medical Center wishes to procure an Eyelink System to provide Binocular eye movement measurement (calibrated and raw); Head position compensation for gaze computaiton and on- line analysis of eye movements (saccades, blinking and fixations). The Eyelink System must acquire eye movements at a 250 Hz sample rate at a spatial resolution of better than 0.01 degrees. It must consist of two small lightweight cameras along with a head position compensation camera mounted to the headband worn by the patient. The Eyelink System PC is controlled by the Eyelink Operator system software and should be supported by Calibration and acquisition of binocular eye and gazs positions; Eye movement parsing for saccade, fixation and blinking detection (events); On line output of gaze position via Ethernet link; Digital recording of eye and gaze position and events into a binary data file on the Eyelink Operator PC (all data should be extracted into an ASCII data file after recording); Remote control of the Eyelink Operator PC using an Ethernet link from the Eyelink Subject PC (required for gaze position calibration); Optional analog output of eye and gaze position, recording of eight (8) digital lines and/or digital remote control of the Eyelink Operator PC using the Eyelink Analog Output/Digital Input Extension. The Eyelink System PC software shall consist of an Ethernet driver and an Application Programmer Interface for DOS, Windows 95 and McIntosh.
