B -- STUDY OF THE SDFSCA MIDDLE SCHOOL COORDINATOR INITIATIVE SOL RFP-99-R-0035 DUE 082499 POC Alice Mihill, Contract Specialist, 202-708-8373 The U.S. Department of Education requires the services of a contractor to assist the Office of the Undersecretary, Planning and Evaluation Service, in fulfilling its responsibility authorized under Section 4117(a)(1) of Title VI of the re-authorized Elementary and Secondary Education Act with regard to the evaluation of programs funded under the Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act (SDFSCA). The purpose of this contract is to develop an evaluation design for a study of the SDFSCA Middle School Coordinators Initiative, and at the option of the Government, to implement that design.
