The following clarifications, corrections, are made to previous consolidated combined synopsis/solicitation dated 6-16-99. IFB#619-07-99 is changed to read IFB#619-01-00. Carrier Chiller #1, model #19DK614, will have been converted from R-11 refrigerant to R-123 refrigerant. Contractor should have experience with previous R-123 conversions and the handling of R-123 refrigerant. In the ANNUAL WINTER maintenance, "perform eddy current tube inspection on #1 chiller on cooler and condenser side" is amended to read, "perform eddy current tube inspection on one (1) of the three water cooled chillers (to be alternated yearly) on cooler and condenser side." Bid opening has been extended to 2:00 p.m. CST, July 14, 1999, at the same location.
