Backlog services will be provided primarily for carotid doppler examinations, with routine ultrasonography services when necessary. Backlog services will require Vascular Doppler ultrasound studies of the carotid, venous, and periphereal arteries. Back-up services will be required to cover all aspects of ultrasonography, both routine and doppler, in the absence of the full-time VA ultrasonographer when on leave, sick, or in training. Back-up services will require studies of the abdomen, pelvis and small body parts. To cover the time-period 1 Oct 99 through 30 Sep 2000.
