The extended deadline is only for cross-cutting proposals that address (l) strengthening communications, planning and management for the Program or (2) defining a restored Chesapeake Bay Ecosystem. Eligibility: Proposed work shall be conducted in or pertain to the Chesapeake Program signatory jurisdictions of Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Applicants shall be from colleges, universities, nonprofit organizations, or local, state, interstate and federal government institutions. Proposals must be postmarked by August 31, 1999.
