A Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for fee title and conservation-easement type real estate appraisal services within the state of Montana is being sought by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for the following counties; Beaverhead, Cascade, Chouteau, Flathead, Gallatin, Glacier, Hill, Lake, Lewis & Clark, Liberty, Madison, Pondera, Powell, Ravalli, Sanders, Teton and Toole. These appraisal services will be provided by fully-qualified real estate appraisers. The appraisals will be on an as-needed basis and will be limited to $30,000 per year. The appraisal projects are as yet unidentified. However, it is anticipated that the appraisal projects will involve agricultural lands, development property, and wetland areas throughout the 17 counties previously listed. When advantageous to the Government, the contractor may be requested to perform work for which he is qualified at sites in other Montana counties. Such requests will occur infrequently. The contractor shall have the right to decline such requests. All appraisal work accomplished under this contract shall conform to the standards established by the "Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions -- Interagency Land Acquisition Conference, 1992", as well as the latest edition of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice. Contractor shall be State certified and shall comply with all State regulations pertaining to appraisal efforts. Work will be accomplished by issuance of individual delivery orders issued against the IDIQ contract with a minimum of one (1) appraisal and a maximum of $30,000 in any one year period. Acquisition is restricted to small businesses. SIC Code 6531 is applicable, size standard is 1.5 million as measured by total revenues, but excluding funds received in trust for an unaffiliated third party, such as bookings or sales subject to commissions. The commissions received are included as revenue. The Request for quotation will be issued on or about July 14, 1999. Interested firms should submit a request to this office by July 9, 1999.
