The US Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM), Fort Monmouth, NJ is issuing this market survey to solicit potential offerors interested in providing engineering services for the Combat Electromagnetic Environment Simulator (CEESIM) 32. The CEESIM 32 is a digitally based Radio Frequency (RF) environment generator and is a member of the Amherst Systems' CEESIM 8k series. The proposed acquisition will be a three-year extension to a Time and Materials (T&M) contract DAAB07-97-D-J936 to support and/or upgrade the CEESIM 32. The contractor will be required to provide any or all of the following services: fault isolation and repair of the CEESIM 32 hardware to the component level, troubleshoot and repair CEESIM 32 application software, design and modify the current CEESIM 32 hardware/software for emerging requirements on an as needed basis, documentation development, provide preventive maintenance and reprogramming of CEESIM 32 tables and/or databases. The government does not possess a level 3 drawing package for the CEESIM 32 hardware nor does the Government have access to the CEESIM 32 software source code. Because of the lack of a complete Government owned drawing and documentation package, it is recommended that potential offerors not possessing resident and demonstrated capabilities with the CEESIM 32 not respond to this market survey.
