The 30th Space Wing, Vandenberg AFB, CA., intends to solicit proposals for the maintenance of approximately 2,076 Military Family Housing units, and a mobile home park containing 172 spaces. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services, necessary to perform maintenance of Military Family Housing equipment, facilities, mobile home spaces, and appliances. The main functions include: Maintenance Management, Service Calls, Change of Occupancy Manintenance (COM), Recurring Equipment Maintenance/Appliance Movement, Cleaning, Contingency Maintenance, Pest Control Service, Locksmith Service for Housing and Asbestos/Lead Based Paint Abatement. The resulting contract will be for one year beginning 01 Oct 99, with four, one year options. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on the internet on or about 16 July 1999.
