Period of performance is from 01 Aug 99 or date of award is subsequent thereto, through 31 July 00 or one year from date of award, with four (4) one-year options. This will be a sole source procurement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. PTR Technologies retains the proprietary rights to the Electron Beam Welders, they are the only known source that has the expertise, repair parts, and experienced personnel that is considered to be necessary to provide the required main- tenance services for the ANAD equipment. Firms that recognize and can provide the required services are encouraged to identify themselveswithin 15 days from the date of this publication, and provide supporting evidence to the Contracting Officer which would permit their participation in future solicitations.
