This requirement is for the Laundry and Linen services at the Coastal Systems Station (CSS), Panama City, Fl. With the exception of the linen, the contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, transportation (pick up and delivery of Laundry), cleaning supplies and services for the performances of routine Laundry services. All articles to be picked up shall be based in terms of total pounds involved, rather than quantity count. Cross-check shall be maintained between the quantity of items laundered and the contract schedule in pounds. The total annual Laundry is approximately 93,600 pounds. The turn around time for pickup and delivery of laundry articles is two days. The contractor weight scales shall be calibrated in accordance with MIL-STD-4566A. The contractor shall establish, maintain, and utilize a quality control program. The period of performance is one base year, plus four full one year options. This solicitation is 100% SBSA, plus SIC 7213, Note 1 applies. A single award will result from this solicitation. No telephone requests will be accepted.
