There is an Additive Bid Item to provide an additional 30' x 35' bay in the Vehicle and Storage Building, as well as an optional bid item to demolish Bldg 28. The South Addition to N-1 includes excavation, concrete slabs, a pre-engineered metal building with a concrete apron, a built-up roof, collection filter, steam heat, fire sprinkler systems, electrical distribution and asphalt paving site work. The Vehicle and Storage Building includes excavation, a concrete slab, a pre-engineered metal building with a concrete mezzanine, a gabled metal roof, gypsum wallboard, insulation, coiling service doors, and electrical distribution. Work includes the demolition of the Deluge Building. The Deluge Building is a 16'x16'x10' ht, wood frame building, and includes a built-up roof with asbestos fibers. The optional bid item is the Demolition of Building 28. The Building 28 dimensions are 80'x30'x18'ht and work includes the steel frame, asbestos and lead paint abatement, concrete slab removal, and wood and concrete wall demolition, utility capping and site fill from grade leveling.
